Made from Tagua Nut which is also known as Vegetable Ivory - an awesome ethical alternative used by Fair Trade Artisans. Each palm-like tree can produce 10kg of nuts each year, harvesting these nuts does not disturb the tree’s reproduction, making Tagua Nut an ecologically sound resource as well.

In this instance the Tagua Nut has been sundried, powdered, stabilised and cold pressed into this intricate statue. It is cool to the touch and has a medium weight.
